The Alternative Dispute Resolution and Welfare Society (ADRWS) is a registered society recognized by the Government, offering services as a hybrid dispute resolution arbitral institution. We provide end-to-end services in arbitration, mediation, and conciliation, combining legal rigour with flexible, cost-effective methods of dispute resolution. Our society plays a pivotal role in advancing accessible, efficient, and enforceable dispute resolution mechanisms.
The Evolving Landscape of Arbitration in India The Government of India has emphasized: (a) the quick and effective resolution of commercial disputes through arbitration, and (b) the efficient conduct of international and domestic arbitrations. In alignment with this national vision, ADRWS has formulated a roadmap that ensures arbitration is not only legally compliant and cost-effective but also particularly relevant for banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions. With rising judicial scrutiny over unilateral appointments of arbitrators by lenders, there is a growing demand for independent and impartial arbitral institutions—a need that ADRWS confidently fulfills.
Alternative Dispute Resolution and Welfare Society (ADRWS) is dedicated to promoting accessible, effective, and legally sound dispute resolution mechanisms across India and beyond. Our objectives are designed to support the growth of ADR practices while also contributing to legal education, awareness, and service delivery.
Our Key Objectives
Alternative Dispute Resolution and Welfare Society (ADRWS) is dedicated to promoting accessible, effective, and legally sound dispute resolution mechanisms across India and beyond. Our objectives are designed to support the growth of ADR practices while also contributing to legal education, awareness, and service delivery.
We provide end-to-end arbitration services through a hybrid approach — physical proceedings and optional virtual hearings including digital documentation where required. All proceedings are fully compliant with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and capable of delivering binding and enforceable awards.
ADRWS offers mediation services conducted digitally with complete confidentiality and neutrality. Our trained mediators guide parties toward voluntary settlements while reducing court burdens.
Conciliation services at ADRWS provide a structured but informal setting to settle disputes through mutual dialogue facilitated by neutral conciliators.
